A Glimpse into the World of Dancing
Copenhagen Superdance is the only dance competition event in Scandinavia, dedicated to ProAm. At Copenhagen Superdance everybody can have their own “Dancing With The Stars” experience. For the third time we are hosted by the exclusive five star Copenhagen Marriott Hotel in the heart of Copenhagen and we look forward to welcome participants from all over the world including dancers from the Americas and Europe.
Copenhagen Superdance builds upon a Pro-Am competition concept, where a dance couple consist of a professional dancer (the dance teacher) and an amateur dancer (the student). This concept enables all the amateur dancers to make their inner dance dreams come true. Enter the dance floor and be part of a fantastic experience in a lively and cheerful atmosphere. During the competition the audience will witness a variety of dances: everything from the classic waltz and passionate tango, to the romantic rumba, sensual bolero and festive salsa.
Get Inspired by Spectacular World-Class Performances
After a day with an extraordinary competition experience for our international participants, we will welcome everyone to a gala evening with world-class dance performances. This year we are excited to present three danish "Dancing with the Stars" professionals in cabaret.
Dancers from the Danish Tivoli Ballet Theatre, will also pay a visit during the show evening and through their elegant ballet performance invite all the guests into the captivating and cheerful world of dancing. Furthermore, we will once again host the Amateur Latin and Ballroom finals in the one of a kind Gladiator format Championships, where five Rising Star Latin couples will compete head to head. As part of the audience, you'll have a direct influence on selecting the Copenhagen SuperDance Gladiator Champions of 2023.
